Who we are

Keeping pets healthy and happy for over 40 years.

The little red building of Selah Veterinary Hospital with its hand-painted sign, glowing in warm evening light
Our home on McGonagle Road — our little red hospital.

Selah Veterinary Hospital has looked after the community's animals for more than four decades. We're a walk-in clinic — no appointments, first come, first served — and that simple, neighborly way of doing things is at the heart of who we are. Come on in during doctor hours, and we'll take good care of your pet.

You'll find us in a charming little red building with a hand-painted sign, proudly serving the community from our fully restored hospital. It's a warm, unpretentious place — exactly the kind of clinic you'd hope for close to home.

Voted one of the top 3 veterinary clinics in the Yakima Valley by the Yakima Herald Readers Choice Awards — numerous years in a row over the last 12 years.

How we practice

Thorough, science-based, and kind.

Regular exams help our veterinarians monitor changes in your pet's health and catch problems early, and we're equipped to handle most emergent needs right here in Selah. Our vaccine decisions are based on the latest science and your pet's own risk profile — adequate protection, but not too much.

Because we're a walk-in clinic, every sick patient is assessed by a technician when you check in, so the most urgent pets are cared for first. And when the time comes for the hardest goodbye, we guide families through end-of-life decisions with comfort, dignity, and gentle remembrance.
