The red barn-style building of Selah Veterinary Hospital with its hand-painted sign, glowing in warm evening light

Selah, Washington

Keeping pets healthy and happy for over 40 years

We're a walk-in clinic — no appointment needed. Come on in, first come, first served, and we'll take good care of your pet.

Voted one of the top 3 veterinary clinics in the Yakima Valley by the Yakima Herald Readers Choice Awards — numerous years in a row over the last 12 years.

How it works

No appointments. Just come on in.

Selah Veterinary Hospital is a walk-in clinic. There's nothing to book and no phone tree to navigate — patients are seen first come, first served.

Walk in

Come by during doctor hours — no appointment needed. If your pet is ill, arrive early in the day, since wait times can be unpredictable.

Check in at the front desk

Let us know what brings you in, including any health concerns. A technician assesses every sick patient, so the most urgent pets are cared for first.

Be nearby when your pet is called

Wait in the lobby, outside, or in your vehicle — just be back before your pet's name is called. If you're away at that moment, you'll simply rejoin the line when you return.

What we do

Full-service care, close to home

From routine wellness to surgery and diagnostics, we handle most of what your pet will ever need — right here in Selah.

Wellness Exams & Emergent Care

Regular exams help our veterinarians monitor changes in your pet's health and identify and manage possible problems early. We're also equipped to handle most emergent needs.

Vaccinations

Vaccine decisions based on the latest science and your pet's own risk profile — adequate vaccination, but not too much.

Surgery

From spays and neuters to more complex abdominal or orthopedic procedures, with top-of-the-line anesthesia monitoring throughout.

Dental Care

Clean teeth prevent serious illness — periodontitis, bacterial infection, mouth pain, even heart disease. It's about far more than fresh breath.

In-House Laboratory

Blood screenings, complete blood counts, urinalysis, internal parasite screens, and more — fast answers when you need them.

Radiology & Ultrasound

Top-of-the-line digital radiographs (x-rays) and ultrasound give us quick images when time matters.

Microchipping

One of the easiest safety measures you can take if your pet is ever lost or stolen — and strong proof of ownership, too.

End-of-Life Care

Gentle guidance through end-of-life decisions with comfort and dignity — hospice care, humane euthanasia, and remembrance services such as clay paw prints and cremation.
